From Combat to Craftsman
I’m a Marine Corps veteran who served in combat, and woodworking became a powerful outlet for me. It gave me focus, clarity, and the satisfaction of turning raw material into something useful and lasting. What started as a way to stay grounded quickly turned into a real passion for the craft.
That passion led me to attend woodworking school, where I refined my skills and deepened my understanding of the tools, techniques, and materials that make a great build. I found that I didn’t just enjoy creating — I enjoyed sharing what I learned and helping others get the same value out of it.
Today, I run Rolla Woodworks with my wife, Irish. Together, we’re building more than just furniture or décor. We’re building a brand for makers who want to create with purpose, learn by doing, and wear their craft with pride. Whether it’s a detailed plan, a shop-tested recommendation, or a shirt that represents your hustle, everything we offer is rooted in that same hands-on spirit.
